Got a problem with your laptop? Can’t connect your smartphone to our campus wireless network? Want to get your hands on some free software? Our friendly IT Helpdesks are here to make sure you get the best from all the IT resources we have available.


We’ve got over 650 PCs at Colchester, along with scanners and printers in our well-resourced labs, many of which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Plus, if you fancy studying with your friends or need somewhere to work on a group project, there are vibrant and social group study pods where you can scrawl on the interactive whiteboards over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.


The Forum houses the Learning Hub (a vibrant IT workspace open 24 hours a day), and fantastic research and learning facilities. On top of that, there are also plenty of PCs in the labs at the Gateway Building.
